Human Potential

This little southern bell is a perfect mix of "sweet" and "spicy". She does not know it yet, but she is already being scouted for future competitions. Talking to her wouldn't give much clue to her natural ability to do well in a WOD because she is so nice and extremely humble. Bad asses in this house are just normal everyday hard working people. Sarah is going to make that list very shortly...we're penciling it in as we speak.

Awesome link from Crossfit Santa Clara... For the Paleo lover, this APP creates new meal combos from Rob Wolff.... Good stuff... Copy and past the link to the address bar, this is the link for IPHONE, there is also an Android version I believe...

  2. Just wanted to try and clarify what we talked about yesterday at the meeting. Say if somebody has to scale a wod or if you can only attend 3 wods should you still register? From what I read today it doesn't look like it will count for the overall team score. See the following-
For Official Teams, the weekly result will be calculated by the combined effort of its top 3 men and top 3 women. This combined result will be ranked with every other Official Team’s combined result. The final ranking for the week will be the team’s score for that week. The overall score is the sum of each week’s score. There is no requirement that the same athletes be the ones scored each week. For an athlete’s scores to count toward their team’s qualification efforts in any given week, they must still be “in the running” as an individual. This means that they cannot scale, DNF (Did Not Finish), or be disqualified for missing the proper range of motion on the current or any prior week’s workout.

  3. Good question, Mel. I have it submitted to HQ. Wait until I get a response before registering.
You may just want to compete the scaled version at your leisure.

  4. (Please don't boo me)lol,
But will I be able to split my weeks up? Should I register with Red's CrossFit complete the last four at Brick, or vise versa? I'm assuming to be able to be on an affiliate team I'd have to register there but am not sure.
