Dark Horse

 Truly, we cannot call Isaac a "Dark Horse" in any way other than the color of his skin. He is well known for his absolute domination in almost every WOD. Most of us can see his dedication to excellence and patient approach to earning strength while also improving dexterity and mobility.
He is not a dark horse, but rather a champion poised to win. You might want to get your tickets to the CF Games now, as Isaac Toomer will most likely be staged with the baddest dogs in the pin..the BIG, BAD, BIG DOG PIN.


Warm Up: PVC/BERG

WOD
21, 15, 9 reps of:
SDHP (95/65)
Overhead Squats (95/65)

STRENGTH/ SKILL
Pistol/Single leg squat
"Skill Work"
-Pistol on box
-Pistol holding bar
-Pistol holding band

*Spend 15-20 minutes working on different variations of Pistol Squats

    so the wod yesterday was not named correctly it should have been "I Heart Tabata." most fun workout i've done in a long time. probably because i'm over bronchitis and can breath again but nevertheless i love tabata.

    also thanks to Isaac and Weaver for the mobility clinic on Sat, it was great. anybody who is having trouble with overuse injury like shin-splints, elbow pain, achilles tendonitis should get with one of these guys (in addition to modifying the offending activity)

    ha, I knew there was something wrong with you Kerry! ;) Good job last night, it's great to see you back and healthy.
    I agree 100% with you, that EVERYBODY needs to do the mobility clinic!
    Also just want to add how happy I am that Isaac has joined our Redheaded family. He is a great coach and love how he pushes me. We got the best coaches around guys! ;)

    I couldn't agree with you more. Issac has the natural ability, work ethic, and knowledge to upset the current field of competitors. I believe in him, you believe in him and now we just have to make sure he believes in himself. The person who knows he can win almost always does and the person who has a any doubt never will.
    The competition at this level is also like two seasoned heavyweight UFC fighters going at it for 15min. One lucky punch, or in this case, one favorable wod will determine the winner.
